Right, here goes...

Quote:
Joel Bradley, 12, was caught allegedly selling a packet of Discos at a marked-up price of 50 pence.

Is 50p a marked-up price these days? :?

Quote:
His father, Joe, told the Liverpool Echo the youngster was being "victimised" for the enterprise, which could earn him as much as £15 a day.

Mr Bradley, from Norris Green, admitted he too had once been caught selling canned drinks, chocolate bars and crisps from a van outside the school.

That's just funny all round

It's become like prison in a sense, where even the smaller things are desirable and can cost more than usual :)

I think he should be applauded if anything.

And he should also put his prices up. ;)

He got caught twice. He should rethink his operations.

It sounds like the issue is the crisps, as opposed to the mark-up.

If the school has banned them on their premises, then I would expect him to be booted, even if he was giving them away. :?

He is breaking school rules, so a suspension is to be expected.
