They are campaigning against the use of fetal harvested stem cells. By the description, the stem cells used in this case were self-donated i.e. they were part of his own body, so it's no more morally controversial than a skin graft. For what it's worth I think those campaigning against the use of fetal stem cels are wrong but I don't think this case is related to that debate in any real way. Jon |

Some protesters of course are against all forms of stem cell research, but they're even nuttier than the usual fundamentalist Catholic ones etc ![]() |
