So we can confidently see the usage statistics for Opera to shoot up and conquer all before them.. oh thought not. What a waste of time and money. |

I see they waited until after Windows 7's release. It still installed IE without asking when I installed it. |

I quite like having IE there when I rebuild a PC for someone. I use it once to download firefox and then delete all shortcuts to it, and then use firefox to download all of the other software I need. Now that almost everyone has some sort of broadband, then with the frequency I have to do this sort of thing, it is far easier than making sure I have all the up to date files on some sort of external storage. |

It hasnt for a long time if youve been using Vista or W7. |

You don't strictly need it in XP SP2 either... You can use the automatic updates to search select which updates you want as well. |
