Clearly he's left a legacy that will be enjoyed by many people for a long time to come. Few of us could aspire to more than that.

AICN is written by Americans who are clearly over dosing on caffeine and orange squash. I was hoping for a mention on the BBC News Site this morning, but no joy. Just checked. Still nothing. What kind of hacks work at the Beeb anyway? |

He was just great, and he always seemed so genuine in interviews - the extras on the Alien set mentioned in Paul's link are well worth a watch... |

There is buckets of stuff to watch in that set. I went through them all earlier this year. It’s the kind of quality you’d expect from more sets like this. |

Best of it is, it can be had around the net for about £9-11 (all four films, including the different versions and a shedload of extras)
