Thanks for the link. Al Jazeera for all the crap the West say about them are about a impartial as they come ! The irony as we are led to believe they are anti Jewish, anti capitalist and Taliban/imaginary terrorist group supporters. |

It can get a tad annoying waiting for the reality to outweigh the hysteria. |

You and me both Dave. And you'll notice apart from Al Jazeera (which is my home page btw) no major outlet is reporting this. What a shock. |

Make that 3. It never made sense at any point. Even if there had been a major scare then the Authorities, all over the world, never approached the "vaccination programme" in any way that made sense if you wanted mass scale protection. Add to that the fact that many people who allegedly had it were told the treatment generally made you feel worse than the flu and it was a helpful financial boost to the Pharmaceutical industry means that there should be an official investigation into the cause of the hype and into those that would benefit from it. As with most things, I find that I waste my breath half of the time. May I suggest a collective disappointing 'sigh'. *sigh* ![]() ![]() |

That works. Funnily enough Classic FM are still running the ads to kid your kids vaccinated from 6mths to 5yrs. Hilarious. |

If H1N1 had turned bad then I dare say people on this board would be calling for WHO's blood and asking where the vaccines are.
From what I understand they're one of the most at-risk groups. |

Not at all. What does concern me is that from the outset this has been a farce and a complete waste of money driven by hype, something that was obvious to many, and now those funds are not there to deal with potentially real threats. You may as well say we'd be calling for the blood of the sun if the sky fell down. |

I think I would have gone for the vaccine if it had turned bad. Here’s the clincher for me: my other half works at a school, and when there are illnesses going the rounds, I usually get them. A few kids had suspect swine flu - and I didn’t get ill. Either they DID have swine flu, and my immune system was strong enough to move it along without causing me any real distress, OR the kids DIDN’T have it, OR Swine Flu just isn’t as communicable as other illnesses. I note that various anti-bacterial companies are peddling their wares using the word “Flu” a lot on the telly. Hooray for corporate led paranoia. |

No, and no. It was bad - thousands of people died. However, the whole vaccination thing was nonsense. I said that ages ago, as did others there. It's ok though, because they can now scare us with another terrorist attempt on Christmas Day. Next crisis please........ Kids don't need vaccinations. They need proper food, exercise and sunshine. We have an immune system for a reason. Constantly filling our bodies with crap ruins it and the vaccine was just another thing full of crap. |

How do you think Smallpox was eradicated or why Polio is almost unheard of in this country? |

Why are you targeting this particular person on their language alone ? I read (just this morning) at least 7 or 8 other people using profanity (in fact myself also) and some were using 4 letter words simply replacing the I with a 1, and I can list them if you like.... |
