Nugent has always been like that. I remember him being interviewed in Kerrang many years ago and from his attitude you'd think he was the heaviest, hardest-rocking guitarist of all time. I went out and got his album and it was mostly wimpy AOR with just the occasional good solo. He's nuttier than squirrel sh*t.
