Unfortunately it's a lot easier for the music companies to win a civil court case, so I really don't expect "Oink" to win again.

I reckon they will tbh. Or at least as an invite only they will probably have a lot of the members pay towards some costs for running it The don't have any of the content themselves, that is the (to some extent) beauty of P2P software, there is no need for a central server to store it, just details of which tracker to go to to find people who have it etc.

exactly, All Google stores in relation to the sites is the website containing the link to the material, not the material itself, entirely different
