He makes some good points, now if he could only start being funny.

I agree, it's been a long time since he made me laugh. Even about 5 years ago (maybe even longer) my mates said his Belfast gig was 'just alright' :(

I really enjoy his brand of humour, always have done and his comedy still makes me laugh now. I also like him when he's educating or making a serious point, he is an intelligent and thoughtful person who sees little gems of detail in so many places and he seems to think a lot like I do.

He used to tell jokes, now he just waffles and swears.
I've got an audio cassette from his early years. It's hilarious!

I still find him entertaining, he has moved on from comedy to entertainment though, less punchlines and more stories. His style is now quite like that of Henry Rollins, basically spoken word from actual experiences, not a joke he made up

I find that a good story can be told equally as well without swearing. Swearing to me is a lazy way of expressing yourself, most commonly used by people in some attempt to bolster their ego.

no it [LIFTED] isnt
swearing is just a way of expressing yourself. It can impart more meaning in the use of fewer words. Create clarity, denote seriousness or jocularity and in fact is a very versatile addition to methods of communication.
its all about tempering the mode and method of communiction to the audience.

so [LIFTED] you mat
