It's a smart move on his part tbh. His audience for these remarks isn't us, it's dissafected youths througout the islamic world who can be persuaded that their problems in finding work etc can be blamed on American imperialism. I expect he's simply endorsing views that are commonly expressed among his existing allies in the hope of appealing to a broader base. It could be quite troublesome for us. |
