Things like this are definitely a step forward.

Either for reducing soldier fatigue or as a kit delivery system. Pack up 400lbs of kit onto this thing and send it on it's way to the squad of guys waiting for it a few miles away.

No risk of anyone being killed en route that way.

For non aggressive use I would agree. I can support the use for recon and logistics or defusing bombs without any qualms. Once they are armed they become problematic.
