This will work because there are so many similarities. If Bethlehem has a small population, has about 2 pubs, one curry house and a whole load of retirement homes and caravan parks as well as overlooking a mothballed nuclear reactor, then they will be very well matched.
My parents have a static home on Mersea island. It’s very quiet - very restful, sometimes maddeningly so. The problem with Mersea Island is that people are starting to notice it. It may have to pull itself out of the 1940s.
