Doubt it. They appointed him to head a quango too a few years ago. He wasn't a bankrupt then mind, but still.

(Further illustration that the difference between the tories and New Labour were cosmetic at best)

They've got little to lose presumably, while putting Cameron in the media spotlight for all the wrong reasons. It's the sort of story that would drag on when he least needs it, the sort of old boys network thing that sticks to the Tories for good reason.
