It also made me laugh at the thought of soldiers continually playing hide and seek, GOW-style

TBH given MS were supposedly making a loss on each console sold, they would have to make it up on the games. If everyone shared the games, they wouldn't have sold as many as thry would have had each console been bought by a civilian.

I would have put in some kind of clause so they buy y number of consoles and x number of games.
