Its a good job Labour are in power and the NHS is safe from this creeping privatisation.. oh... bugger

PFI was a fiddle under the Tories and was rightly denounced by Labour but on getting into power New Labour (more Tory than Tory)it was suddenly seen as a great way to fiddle the books and appear to look good.

Politicians teven spending the 22p for a bullet is too good for them.

I was discussing at the Institute for Fiscal Studies, the whole PFI process with John Kay the economist with the Financial Times, and we both agreed that PFI or what ever they called it was a scam and waste of money. The sooner it is detailed then the scams will end. Sometimes public services are better than private.

The NHS might be in for a shock when the Cons get in then, according to Private Eye - Dave's thought to be wild keen :oops:
