We're often told they use it as a 'proof of concept' etc, but I think in most cases it's, well, tw@ts :(

I can understand, why somebody would spend time and effort, criticising ( or hacking at the extreme ) a site that represents something they have strong feelings regarding ( not saying I agree with such activity mind you ) . But a long standing flight sim site ??????????? FFSK :roll:

Surely if you want to test a proof of concept you do it to your own server where there is nothing important to be lost and you aren't breaking a shed load of laws?

I suspect that you are making several huge assumptions there.
Namely that they are intelligent, they care and using their own wouldn't be any fun !

Yeah true. I can happily report some of them get their cum upence ( or at least one I know of ;) ) :twisted: and I'm not talking a slapped wrist in court :D
