In my opinion, everyone should be asked at the polling station door 'Does the fact that <celebrity x> has endorsed any party affect the way you vote?' If the answer is yes, they should have the voting card taken off them and be told to leave. I know the 'they don't deserve to have a vote' is a horribly daily mail argument and we are living in an age of universal sufferage and that's a good thing, but there are limits.

Sounds like politics is becoming more americanised. Unfortunately, this kind of this will appeal to thr lowest common denominator.
