We'll probably be the last country in the developed world to get relatively reasonable speeds of broadband. If this goes ahead then one step closer to realisation of that statement. |

If there are problems with getting fast broadband into the sticks in this Country, multiply those difficulties by a factor of 10 and you might approach the level of difficulty for getting fast broadband out into the sticks in the United States. |

I don't agree. We are getting two optical strands installed to our property in the summer for free. One will provide us with 100mbps internet, if we choose to take that service. We will most likely take a slower service. 10mbps would do us fine. http://fibrecity.eu/fibrecities-bournemouth.php This company are doing the same in Dundee, and I'm sure I've read about similar plans in Manchester. |
