The government has made to heavily with a propogandic style of promoting this theory. Problem with that is that the majority of uneducated people don't gie a crap and those who are usually don't react well to propoganda.

For example every subject is being filled with material on AGW where ever it is loosely relevent yet such topics overtake much more important and relevent topics to the understanding of such subjects( IE biology, chemistry, politics, geography and economics).

People funnily enough don't like things being forced down their throat.

This government has spent millions also on advertising and creating propoganda for climate change in advertisements that were consistantly grossly inacurate of any IPCC repots findings.

Then there are politicians such as algore with his " An inconsistant exaggeration" film. Which again the government said should be shown in every school.

Then there's Ceebeebies which as a childrens tellivision network has various programmes such as "tommy zoom" who fights te evil "pollutor" which shows AGW believer's high peopensity to be akin to a religeon. There's the endless news reporting AGW as fact.
There's the effect whereby AGW has become the cancer causers of news stories. It makes people sceptical when everything causes cancer, well it also makes people sceptical when global warming causes every contratdictory climate change or weather events.
Then there's new scientist a magasine that has deestroyed it's own credibility by constantly doing the bible bashing equivalent of AGW promotion. Since it was a magasine that had wide ranging stories but now will always go for a AGW promoting story that has been spouted 3 times before over a story that is more current and relevent discovery in science. The new scients has mad itself into a tabloid for AGW like the Daily mail and express are fore euroscpticism and anti immigration.
