I dread to think what would happen if more people sued councils for damages. Council taxes would rise a lot. |

There'd likely be more legislation to reduce the number of circumstances where you are entitled to sue. |

They are legally obligated to do it IIRC if you notify them of it they have to repair it in a number of days/weeks If they did a decent job first time there wouldn't be this issue |
