I am sure that will be the same here soon enough. It is the case for me.

Totally true for me too.
More opinion, greater immediacy and the ability to directly interact with the authors of news content by leaving comments is far better than reading from a physical bit of printed paper in my hands.

I find that I can read far more varied content that I could get in a single paper. News aggregators and RSS are hugely useful for such news gathering.

The only bit of the printed press I'd be worried about losing is the investigative 'scoop' side, though it feels like it's been on the wane anyway, and could probably continue online :?

I think that the main publications will actually find investigations will be something that can separate them from the online news sources.

I don't think they've the sense tbh, most of them decided to confront falling sales with more celeb news

Yes but that is cheap and everyone has that story so what will differentiate them? Celeb stories have so many other outlets like OK Hello and dozens of women's weeklies.

That's what I mean, they haven't the sense, they gave you less of what most people buy a paper for, while wanting more money in a lot of cases

I can't remember the last time I bought a paper... Maybe 20 years ago.

I do browse the paper at the office sometimes at lunch, or the free Sundays that land in post box at home.

I only buy papers for something specific these days, or if I know I'm gonna be sat waiting somewhere - both are rare occasions
