I have a 1st Gen PS3, weirdly it ran all day without any problems. :?

I think only certain model numbers were affected. Anyway the issue wasn't fixed because a repair was never made. Sony just watched and waited. As explained in the link I posted in the Meeting Place, the problem was with the internal clock.

Only 20 million were affected. The slimline PS3s were not affected.
