I think only certain model numbers were affected. Anyway the issue wasn't fixed because a repair was never made. Sony just watched and waited. As explained in the link I posted in the Meeting Place, the problem was with the internal clock. |

Only 20 million were affected. The slimline PS3s were not affected. |
