I doubt the fact that it's so close will help the Lib Dems. People will leave them and vote Tory or Labour to avoid a hung parliament. |

Well they are all too similar now. there used to be some difference between the Liberals and Tories/Labour. Personally I would prefer a hung parliament over a Tory government. |

Does Jo Schmo care about (or even understand) a hung parliament? I certainly don't and I have a vague clue going on. I would imagine the majority of those voting don't have a clue and will merely repeat what they've been doing for years. |

I think I'll vote for them as a lesser of 3 evils ![]() Some of us still have long enough memories to remember the dictatorship....err I mean tenure... of the tories for 18 years. |

Yes but if you are in a area where the Liberals are no where near then it is a wasted tactical vote. People should consider tactical voting. What ever to keep the Tories out. Not necessarily to give a landslide to Labour. |

Cornwall is all "gold". ![]() Besides, if everyone thought that way then you'd never get an alternative candidate elected... |

If I were in Cornwall I would be voting Liberal. Where I live is a two party race. Though in the next constituency the Green party have a chance, so I could vote Green if I lived there. |

Cornwall was blue once...people had to 'waste' their vote to change that... |

Hove was blue for 137 years but they still changed. The point I wanted to make was that until enough we have proportional representation is that tactical voting is the best the public have to keep the idiots out or choose the lesser of two evils. |

Certainly won't vote LibDem now as from listening to Nick Clegg they have clearly alligned themselves with Labour. |

Well the LibDems have always been more middle class than the other parties, but since the two main parties are chasing the same voters it was inevitable that they would be compared to the Lib Lab pact of the 70's. It may never happen. Though old Labour and the Liberals were close on many things apart from electoral reform. |

So you only have two canditates then? Otherwise the not having a chance and wasted vote frame of mind is nothing other than a cop out imho. It may take you and others to do so, and certainly a few elections for voices to be heard, but do you really want to have a two party see-saw for eternity? |
