Register Clicky Sounds interesting...I wonder how the 3rd gen iPod Touch will mimic this iPhone... |

Almost certainly. Otherwise it could see some people "drift" away from the iPhone. The upgrade from the 1st gen to the 3G 16G model cost me nothing, thanks to fleabay, and made some punter very happy. ![]() |

I'm currently using my Dad's first gen iPhone with my Orange SIM. When the new iPhone comes out I'll be close to the end of my current contract and I'll be changing to O2 and going with the 3G iPhone. Can't wait! My latest upgrade from Orange (Sony Ericsson C905) was really bad. A let down from Sony Ericsson following a run of VERY nice phones. |

I can't wait for the new one, then I can commit my current iPhone 3G to development only. I can't see them changing the shape of the phone, but it could be conceivable that it will be made "sleeker" by changing it's shape to the iPod touches size. An FM transmitter would be great but totally unrealistic. Current manufacturers wouldn't be happy and as a result Apple could loose revenue from licensing. I think we can accept it will be faster through increased RAM and faster CPU, natural progression. I would love to see 32GB and 64GB versions, although very doubtful. |
