Well, the potential for HD games that are actually worth playing might be a thought

Nintendo want to talk about being innovative? What's their excuse for the GameCube V2 then (otherwise known as the "Wii")?

I think they would reply "look at our sales and the amount of wonga that it has generated"

He's got a point.
I have a Wii and there's no way I'd even think about spending money on a PS3 and controller.
Wii's have fun group games that I don't buy for the way they look. If I want good graphics, I buy games for my PC.

I find it hard to disagree with the translations

Excuse? Erm... family orientated console, lifestyle games (Fit), motion controls (doing something different), fairly cheap-ish in comparison, most worldwide sales than any current gen console. They may not have innovated with "super dooper graphics and 3 millions processor power RAWWWRRR", but there are other ways to innovate.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. For those slagging off the Wii for whom the console doesnt appeal to then thats because it was never really supposed to. I'm pretty sure they weren't targeting the hardcore gaming market. IMO.
