I only heard about them when I went to Texas. A bloke there was quite blasé about using one on his dog. I never would! It's just cruel.

I've only ever seen them in S&M videos. Apparently it feels as like you're being attacked by a sowing machine, but you recover very quickly.

Of course, using it on an animal is more cruel because it'll have no idea what's going on or why.

And why they were banned. As for unmanageable dogs that is down to poor training. Pets learn the behaviour of the family. If you encourage aggression they become aggressive.

TBH I'm more concerned about the export of goods made in the EU which are used for human torture.

What is worse is that ministers defend the export because of jobs in this country.

I'm more concerned that there was someone qualified to compare the sensation to being attacked by a sowing machine ! :shock:
Perhaps the collar was used to train said sewing machine and it was seeking revenge. :evil:
