Judging by the numbers of users still playing Halo 3 online (their db gets something stupid like 40 million entries a day added) I think they may mean in terms of online games

Yes but some games out gross all but the biggest Hollywood blockbusters. I wonder how long before even James Cameron's films are out grossed by games. |

Errr MW2..... Pretty sure that out grossed a lot, if not GH3 will make more profit than Avatar ever will |

I know that some games have grossed several hundred million dollars, which is a good take for any Hollywood film. I think that it might be a while before a game takes a billion dollars but it will happen one day. |
