Is he trying to get into voters' heads with 'Go on, vote Labour, Gordon probably won't hang about you know'? :?

I wouldn't put it past Mandy trying mind control, though I thought it was more of a Jedi trait that one...

He probably should go within a year of the election. If he tries to hang on for longer he will be in trouble. He is the biggest liability to Labour at the moment.

To be honest I thought they resigned, as leader of their party, by default if they lost an election from being prime minister.

It used to be the norm that they stayed on a while even if they lost. It gave the party time to plan changes.

Mandy is a liability long term but at the moment he is needed. Though he will need to go soon enough as well.

Just like they do with second homes he will "flip" his allegiance to the winning party.

The Dark Lord will be our first president  :P
