He is clearly running scared. I would expect that he is hoping that it will frighten the wavering voters to give the Tories a chance, even though he plans to out Thatcher, Maggie herself. Older forumites will know how bad that was. ![]() |

In principle I agree with him I think a hung parliament won't be of any use to us in sorting this mess out. The only things to get passed will be either 1) Things nobody cares about 2) Castrated acts that have been watered down to keep the coalition members happy. God help us. IMHO. |

Anything that prevents a tory government is good for the UK. It may damage his enormous wealth, but so what. |

I think that a hung parliament will not be the nightmare that the Tories make it out to be. If there is, it will mean that Vince Cable will probably be chancellor. It will also mean any cuts that are made will not be revoked by the next government. There have been coalitions in the past, Germany runs perfectly well with coalitions. Okay Italy is a bad example as well. ![]() |

Whether I am right or wrong, neither of the main two parties are really that great. The Liberals should be given a chance and a hung parliament might be that chance. Overall our standards of living are going to drop and none of the parties have acknowledged that. The two main parties will make the rich suffer least of all even though they are more capable of coping with such a drop. |

for fcuks sake Govt cant even fix the roads/railways/air travel/energy and communication industries, so a hang parliament is not going to create any more or greater problems, then we already have, for the country … |

IIRC Belgium went without a government for 18 months and the popularity ratings were the highest ever. ![]() |

Hanging every one in parliament is a good idea in my opinion. |

You do realise that there have been over 4000 pieces of crap legislation passed by the current government in the past few years? Most of them have been aimed at making everyone criminals, too. I think a hung parliament will give the country a breather. Perhaps a hung parliament will have a chance to review current legislation and take better care over new stuff. What we don't need right now is a violent lurch a little further right. What's the phrase? Different asshole, same old sh!t. |

I agree much of what has passed in the last twenty years needs reviewing. It could probably all be scrapped. I expect it was all done to be seen to be dealing with Britain's problems while flipping homes and fiddling the expenses. ![]() |
