Government Appeals European Court Ruling on Section 44

I think it was always a foregone conclusion that the government would appeal this ruling, I wonder what effect a change in government would have on this.

I saw someone last week wearing a jumper saying "I'm a photographer, not a terrorist"

Hopefully the appeal is binned.

I think they would appeal even if it was a foregone conclusion that they would lose. They have to appear to believe that what they are doing is right in order to save face, at our cost financially or otherwise, regardless.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.
