It did used to entertain me that for a long time Brown used to wear a blue tie whilst Cameron regularly used to wear a red one. It seems only recently that they've actually started wearing party colours.

And as we know from the Bubble, the Queen wears Lib Dem colours

So they will consider it, then once they are in power they will decide that it is not a good idea. So no surprises there!

Confusingly, that’s the American way round. In the USA, the Democrats (the more “left-wing” of the two USA parties) is blue, the Republicans are red.
