In what sense?

Apple have refused other apps that replace their own functionality with a better or alternative product, yet allow a Safari replacement......

A Safari replacement which is neither better or really an alternative from what we've seen here today, mind you. ;)

It is definitely no Safari replacement. Deleted from the phone already.

A shame, Opera seem to be living off the hype of how good the Windows Mobile version was 2-3 years ago. Unfortunately, the world has moved forward since then.

The current Opera Mobile browser is very good, but the mini one isn't to be blunt about it

I can certainly see uses for it - and I've kept it on my phone for those times I want to check something quickly and I'm on the phone network rather than Wi-Fi.

I doubt this is the application Opera wanted to make though, and that's sad.

I think it's not the one they wanted to release :) They make mini for Java based phones too
