I'm not sure what terms and conditions they may have breached, unless there's a specific clause banning using the image in political campaigning.

There is something about not implying endorsement by the model without a disclaimer on the poser. This appears to be an endorsement.

The clause which states that the image can't be used in such a way as to indicate that the model endorses anything? :?

Yeah, I found that bit now. When the story first emerged there was no clue as to which stock library was used.
