Why would you have it sent to your personal account in the first place? It's just asking for hassle if nothing else :?

Yes it might look dodgy but since he declared the donations are they really that damaging?

Lol, Torygraph really stretching to find anything on Clegg.

Apparently it reduced admin and there wasn't a possiblity of putting it via another account for one reason or another at the time and every penny was accounted for immediately so the headline is really 'Clegg gets donation and follows all appropriate procedures". LMAO, smacks of real desperation.

Now the Telegraph is laying into the BBC for not providing a live feed of tonight's Sky debate on a terrestrial channel.

Like there's no digital channel it can go on like, er, BBC Parliament.

There can't be many households that can't receive digital telly these days, so this kind of anti-BBC bias just adds to the overall smell of fear from the "establishment" papers that their pet prime minister candidate is not going to win.

There's a word their beloved Maggie used once. They're "frit". And it's a joy to behold.

There was a distinct anti-Clegg feel to The Times this morning as well. It's quite amusing.

There's always one. ;)

The Daily Fail is at it now. This is going to turn out to be a hilarious day.

Hands up here as well, we don't even have a telly, let alone a digital one. We'll be listening on the wireless as before.

Hmm, that's a good idea actually. It means I can get the content without seeing the smug, smug faces of GB and DC.

Quote:
Mr Clegg, whose party enjoyed a poll boost after last week's debate, said he had done "nothing wrong" and would publish the figures to prove it.

He became a target after upsetting the old, comfy balance of power.
Quote:
The Tories say he has questions to answer over claims political donations were paid into his bank account.

He's already answered the question and can prove it. Yet they haven't listened and are still repeating "he has questions to answer" in a voice of desperation

The other parties have realised that the disillusioned electorate just want a change from the money-grabbing same-old incompetence of Labour and Conservative, and that Clegg is seen as new to the game and therefore not quite as tarred as the rest of them. This is their attempt to level the field.

No TV here either!

I live in a Labour marginal and yesterday had the local Tory candidate popped around in a very very safe Tory ward. So safe that the ward has never voted any other party than Tory. They must be worried around here.

It's also being streamed live on the BBC news web site, and presumably on Sky's equivalent.

This just shows how precarious the debates are - placing one on a TV channel you have to pay extra to receive is not good. They should by rights all be on the BBC.
