In fact it's hard NOT to think of a reason not to go ahead with this :?

Though you have to wonder if they'd need safeguards - a shift in parliament's ruling majority/team-up for instance...

I don't like systems where you can "recall" elected representatives, purely because in the USA someone always starts one without fail when someone is elected. Personally I think if an MP has done something serious enough to warrant a recall petition, then you're probably going to remember it when the next election comes round.

i think that the lot of them should be sacked

then create a lower elected house with no more then 400 MPs
and have to stand for re-election every 4 years

an upper elected house of no more then 100
and have to stand for re-election every 10 years

and that is just the start of reform that is needed and required …
