Wow!

It is truly amazing what can be done now.

I keep thinking of the Star Trek film though where they travel back to current day Earth and Dr McCoy gives the lady with liver disease a tablet to fix it.

I wonder what they would think of our efforts in pioneering face transplant surgery?

I think that would depend on what the actors read on the script that was written for them.

Seriously though ... well, maybe not that seriously, but in 150 years time I wonder if they'll look back in horror at the butchering being performed (much like we do at the surgery performed 150 ago).
