I dislike going into GAME stores, I can't afford any of the games in there, don't have any of the new consoles, and the staff leave a lot to be desired...
I much prefer the independent/small chain stores that cater for those people who have enough money to buy new consoles, but also know that many people still enjoy playing on older consoles and so cater for them also.

GAME prices are utterly ridiculous - if even HMV had to wind their necks in a bit when the net became ubiquitous, somebody should tell GAME _________________Plain English advice on everything money, purchase and service related:

Yes but even the pre-owned games are good value for many even allowing for the GAME profit margin. Not always though. eBay and the Amazon Marketplace are handy as well.
