Courtney Love (or Courtney Michelle as she now prefers to be called) is seriously considering selling off the rights to late Nirvana leader Kurt Cobain’s music.

Stating that she feels her former husband’s money has been ‘cursed’, the Hole leader told The Scotsman:

“I’m thinking about selling off all of Kurt’s publishing. All of the rights, everything. It’s not a financial decision; it’s an emotional one. He was the best friend I’ve ever had, but Kurt and I were only married for three years, and now I need to have my own life. I’m always ‘the widow’ and that drives me nuts. That money has been cursed since the day it started to come in.”

Courtney says she feels this is the only way she might be able to move on in her life.

With Hole releasing a new album, Nobody’s Daughter, and about to tour, Courtney has been busy drumming up headlines, She’s even claimed in an interview with Howard Stern that she had an affair with Gavin Rossdale, who’s married to Gwen Stefani!
