Horrific behaviour.

The guy is alleged to have confessed to the crime, but that doesn't mean he'd been through a fair trial and convicted. The villagers essentially took the law into their own hands and became judge, jury and executioner.

Innocent until proven guilty. He was only suspected of the crime, so this was totally out of order.

Anyone who behaves like that, either through vigilante-ism or by voting for a Nationalist party, is an idiot.

The police should have protected this man until at least he had been tried. Also he "confessed" which might have been rather convenient.
