![]() You just never know ![]() Years ago my mate's uncle got his house raided and smashed up by the police after the Chinese delivery guy mistook the TV remote sitting on the table for a gun... It didn't help that the uncle was drunk when he answered the door to the delivery guy ![]() |

I had one in the car that looked quite realistic (it was tossed on the back seat as it had run out of gas) and a copper nearly had kittens when he stopped me. |

reminds me when I was sharing a house with a friend and I got back late from a gig. He left early in the morning setting the alarm, which I triggered as I walked down the stairs. Although I disabled the alarm, I unfortunatly missed the telephone call from the Alarm company, who informed the police. They ambled round and knocked on the door. After coming in and answering a few questions they left satified I was legitimatly in the house. All the time I was thinking "dont go into the front room". As my housemate had bought a (deactivated) Bren gun at the weekend and it was sitting in the front room looking all nice and dangerous ![]() |
