UK broadband 'notspots' revealed
Around three million homes in the UK have broadband speeds of less than two megabits per second (2Mbps) according to research commissioned by the BBC.

I was until I moved house the other year. Due to noise on the line the maximum stable connection I could get was 512kb.

Sometimes lucky if I can breach 1 meg really.

I have a 20-meg connection and there are times where I struggle past 2 (peak times obviously).
