A woman in Pennsylvania claims that she’s married to Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth – and has spent the last four years trying to divorce him!

Jo Ann Fonzone is acting as her own lawyer in the case, even though Roth himself denies the marriage ever happened.

Ms Fonzone is apparently renowned in Allentown for taking out lawsuits, and the Roth case is one of around two dozen she’s filed since 1997.

She says the marriage happened in 1983, when Diamond Dave was using the name Cary J. Woods.

But Fonzone goes on to state that she didn’t realise that she was actually hitched to the singer in Van Halen until a decade later.

“He’s the master of disguise,” she insists.

In other words, chancer bloke tells her he's actually David Lee Roth to try to take advantage of her and she believes him .

Fonzone’s story is she met David Lee Roth at New York University in the late 1970s. He was going by the name Cary J. Woods, and “Cary” never mentioned a darn thing about being in Van Halen. You see, David Lee Roth is a “master of diguise,” so Fonzone had no reason to be suspicious (he even managed to keep up the ruse, Jo Ann says, when the two attended a Van Halen concert shortly after their ‘83 nuptials).

That or she is just crazy. It does happen.
