I can hardly see why he's at any more risk than when he was tory leader, people are fairly satified with the fresh gov't |

The unions? Joe Taxpayer? Al Q's Westminster Jihad Battalion (Oxford educated) - it could get very dangerous for Dave very quickly with just the wrong comment ![]() 'Is it safe?' ![]() ![]() |

If the leaders hide themselves away from the public then they get out of touch with what is really happening. Focus groups and hangers on will tell them what they think that they want to hear. Blair really like the trappings of power and hated giving them up, though that shows in his popularity now. |

Maybe i'm not the type of person (which is probably a good thing) but I just don't see the point in killing him, morally or reasonably. With reason it would be a big incident but an assasination wouldn't make any difference because they'd just choose another leader, hague again. suppose it would cause some upheaval, but beyond eggs, a punch or a prank I just don't see brits doing anything to kill him. |

In fact he is very moderate compared to many in the Tory party. Kill him and we get a much more unlikeable person in his place. |

Personally I think the new Prime Minister is to be applauded, particularly for walking around Whitehall as opposed to using a car to go to a building just a few streets away. |

Agreed and I do hope that nothing bad comes of it. If it means we have leaders who are not isolated hopefully it will mean better judgement. |
