Good that :
a) We have our own accounts b) My girlfriend can't work out how the iPhone works (too complicated) c) Doesn't know what a web browser is, let alone that it has a history feature...
I feel pretty safe - although I have to teach her how to use a computer, as she will be starting a course to get her Meister certificate in Housekeeping (running her own kitchen, planning shifts, organising deliveries, planning meals etc.). She already runs the kitchen at a nursing home and gets switched between buildings as they are renovating the houses and she has to prepare the "emergency" kitchens, then plan the implementation of the new kitchens as they are brought back on line.

Yes but it does depend if the man makes her feel insecure. If he has too many secrets from her or is unable to answer questions then they get suspicious. I had an ex who got suspicious about what I had been doing that day and what time I left work and what I had done since leaving work. I struggled to answer but I had not been diagnosed with amnesia then, so to her was just another cheating bloke.

But true.
I know my wife's been through my emails before because she asked about some of them. (And before you ask, no there was nothing untoward about any of them.)

Most of my emails are not worth worrying about from a GF point of view, and those that could be questionable are also pretty safe. I lead my life as an open book now, it is impossible to maintain a lie with my memory so never bother in the first place. Though I must remember to not say her bum looks big.

But surely you can't make someone feel insecure; that's just someone's response to a set of circumstances.

Yes but certain behaviour could be construed as suspicious. If they are overly paranoid then that is their problem not yours.

No. But many movie depictions of amnesia is wide of the mark. Even 50 First dates is not completely accurate. Only the very extreme cases are like that. I can be as extreme as Ten second Tom. Though like Lucy have barely any memory of the previous day. It is just that in my case the majority is wiped during that night, though not all. I can remember bizarre things, such as discussing with an ex a friend of her not knowing whether she had anal sex. I said "I am an amnesiac and I know that I have not". She told her friend and was very embarrassed, though expected me to forget it. That bit I remember though cannot remember her name.

That's hilarious Just think you might enjoy it. Chris Nolan's on his game and the way amnesia is critical to the storyline is quite ingenious. As for snoopy women. Wow, I'm shocked.

The thing about amnesia is that it can be a deal breaker for women, though they were not worth worrying anyway. For those that I have told, it was never an issue. It was never the reason for the break up.

Dude, women find deal breakers in the most unlikely of places. I swear, some of them go looking specifically. </like my Murphys>

All true, but if you have insecurity in a relationship, you should be able to discuss it with your partner. It would strike me as useful for one person in a couple to point out behaviours in their partner which cause them to feel insecure, in an equitable relationship they can then discuss ways to prevent this being the outcome. That said, I've been in a relationship with a guy who worked pretty hard at making me insecure by being deliberately and ridiculously secretive and suspicious because he thought it would "keep me keen"
