Can't say I'm surprised, it's been obvious to me for a while that the police and the media were responsible for giving this drug more attention than it would ever have gotten otherwise

The Daily Mail jumping to the wrong conclusions yet again. While I will not doubt that this drug is potentially dangerous it might have been over rated.

Wasn't just TDM of course, News Int.'s own publications couldn't print enough about it...

The press have not covered themselves in glory over the meow meow drug story. The Drugs Advisory Group want to collect evidence either way before coming to judgement. That would be the best policy but politicians seem to make drugs policy on the fly or after being told what to think by Rupert Murdoch or TDM.
