Steve Jobs has dismissed speculation that this week’s WWDC is the beginning of the end of the Mac platform.

Apple’s developers conference has been dominated by the company’s mobile platform, with nearly all sessions dedicated to programming for the three iOS devices, the unveiling of iPhone 4 and, for the first time, the exclusion of Mac software from the annual Apple Design Awards.
