Post subject:  Arrest after shot fired at police in Perivale

A motorist spotted using a mobile phone while driving shot at two police officers after they tried to pull him over, Scotland Yard has said.

Police said the driver failed to stop in the incident on the A40 in Perivale, west London, on Saturday night.

He eventually abandoned his car in Lily Gardens and ran off. The officers chased him and a shot was fired, but they were not hit.

A police helicopter was deployed, and a 23-year-old man was arrested.

Yes that he was using a mobile phone while driving. That is a £1000 fine there! ;)

thats what i mean, if he felt the need to shoot at police when thats all he was being charged for, there mustve been something more illegal inside the car.
