Everybody says home advantage is huge in sports like football and basketball and I don't think it's any different in tennis, so I'm hoping it's going to help me out because winning my first Grand Slam title in my own country would be incredible.

I didn't know Scotland had a grand Slam Tennis event?

Saying a Scotsman has a home turf advantage in England is almost as bad as saying an Englishman has a home turf advantage in Germany :D

Perhaps his passport states his nationality as "British", so then, yes, he is on home soil and Britain does have several grand slam tennis events, albeit all in England. Just guessin'.

Of course it's home advantage, he lives in Wandsworth and plans to move to Surrey apparently.

You can't get more home advantage than that.

A Briton playing in Britain, that is a disadvantage when it comes to sport.

If one is diving so close to the limits that +/- 1% will make a difference then the error has already been made.

It appears not to make much difference from what I can see.
