Right now, kids are showing reckless abandon when it comes to saving their pocket money.

Yet another idiots pronouncing some urban myth as fact. I doubt that games do promote violence. Many people I know play far more violent games than me and none are violent.

I had no idea what violence was until I read some history books. Now I enjoy a good rape and pillage as part of my weekly routine.

Violence in video games don't turn gamers violent. Ignorant morons saying video games cause violence do.

The biggest factor is the daily violence around you like in the family or school.

I think she's really making the point that kids think they know violence when in truth they don't.

She was born in the UK but her family moved her back to Sri Lanka when she was a kid and she was there during the Civil War while her dad was being chased by the Army. She saw a lot of real violence AFAIK.

jonbwfc I was behind her in a queue today - but I wouldn't describe it as 'bushy'.

Not knowing real violence and games teaching kids violence are very different matters. I will agree with the former but disagree with the latter.
