Sony's announced that VidZone will launch an NME music channel along with more new content to celebrate the music service's first birthday.

The channel will feature 19 tracks from the likes of Kasabian, Kings of Leon, MGMT and The Foo Fighters, all of which are free to download and listen to via the VidZone player on PSN as usual.

The channel will also host exclusive interviews with bands and some of the best up-and-coming indie/rock music videos of today.

More birthday celebrations include exclusive interviews with Ozzy Osbourne, Kelly Rowland, Jack Johnson and Usher.

The music channels came into play when VidZone became VidZone TV back in April.
